The MyORAYA SMS program.

What we text you, how you opt in, how often messages arrive, what they cost, how to stop them, and why your mobile number is never shared. This page is public and requires no account.

What the MyORAYA text messaging program is.

Use case: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Program name: MyORAYA / ORAYA notifications. Operated by ORAYA Health, Inc. Every message we send is a one-time passcode or an account-security alert. We do not send marketing, promotional, or general account notification text messages.

Consent is explicit

You opt in by entering your mobile number yourself and verifying it with a code. Nothing is pre-checked, and we never add a number you did not give us.

Consent is never required

Agreeing to texts is not a condition of receiving medical care, of any purchase, or of using MyORAYA. Email verification is always available instead.

Consent is reversible

Reply STOP to any message, or remove your number in the app. Opting out never affects your care, your record, or your access to MyORAYA.

Consent is collected where the number is entered.

The disclosure below appears on screen at the moment you provide your mobile number, not only in our Terms. It is reproduced here verbatim.

Shown on the signup / phone verification screen

The checkbox is unchecked by default. It is never pre-selected, and submitting the form without checking it creates the account without enrolling the number.

Shown on the provider signup checkbox

I agree to the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and the HIPAA Business Associate Agreement.

The consent screens as they appear in the app.

The ORAYA check-in and account interface. Together these show the consent checkbox before and after the patient opts in, and where the number is managed afterwards.

Before: unchecked by default. The check-in screen as it first appears. The consent checkbox and the full disclosure sit directly beneath the mobile number field, and the box is empty until the patient chooses to check it.
The same check-in screen after the patient has entered their details and affirmatively checked the SMS consent box.
Screenshot required The same screen after the patient checks the box, showing the affirmative opt-in and the "Optional" note beneath it. assets/sms/signup-consent-checked.png
After: the patient opts in. Consent is recorded only when the patient checks the box themselves. The note beneath it reads "Optional, you can check in without texts," and check-in completes either way.

Number management. The verified number and its enrollment state stay visible, with the same disclosure shown again when the number is changed. Removing the number ends SMS immediately.

Every message we send, with sample text.

These four are the only SMS the program sends. All are one-time passcodes or authentication-security alerts, consistent with the registered 2FA use case.

How often messages arrive, and what they cost.

Message frequency varies

Frequency depends on how you use the Services. ORAYA texts are event-driven rather than scheduled: one message per sign-in code you request, one per contact change you make, and one per qualifying security event. There is no recurring campaign and no fixed monthly send. For a typical user this is fewer than 10 messages per month. People who sign in frequently on new devices may receive more; people who sign in with a saved device or use email verification may receive none.

Message and data rates may apply

Messages you receive from or send to ORAYA are subject to your wireless carrier's standard text messaging and data rates under your plan. ORAYA does not charge a fee for text messages. Check with your carrier if you are unsure of your plan's charges.

Stopping messages, and getting help.

STOP auto-reply

ORAYA Health: You have been unsubscribed and will receive no further texts at this number. Sign-in codes will now be sent by email. Reply START to resume.

HELP auto-reply

ORAYA Health account and security alerts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel. Help: info@orayasolutions.com or 332-323-0287.

Because ORAYA texts carry sign-in codes and security alerts, opting out of SMS may prevent you from signing in by text and will stop security notices to that number. If you opt out, add or verify an email address in the app so you can still receive verification codes and account alerts. Opting out never affects your care.

Your mobile number is never shared or sold.
